love & appreciation

If you love a flower don't pick it up, because if you pick it up it dies and ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation
Love is not about possessions but appreciation. I never understood it until now.
Love is not something that can be accessible with money, because that is not love, it is greed. Materialistic. How can you love something when tomorrow the next best thing will  be released and what you have will soon cease to have value. But, true love does not work that way. It's about appreciation. To love someone fully you need to appreciate them for everything that significant other does for you. What he or she sacrifices for you and what he or she believes in you. What that person sees in you and the fact you have a special place in their heart- just for you. I appreciate that. The small things and the big things. The good and the bad, I appreciate them because it brings me a step closer to your heart and a bigger step to understanding who you are. I believe every couple should fight, nothing is ever rainbows and butterflies, then that is not real. People go through struggles for a reason. And if you can not surpass them then maybe it's time to reconsider. But, never, forget what that person has taught you and say thank you. Appreciation is always over looked and it's one of the things that keep love going. If you can not appreciate that person for who they are then why be in a relationship, why give them your heart when you can not appreciate them for who they are, or the fact that each day they are giving a small piece of themselves to you. Love, you sneaky little creature.
